Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.  Why? It is my favorite holiday because I think people actually get it and do it well.  Yes, we all eat a lot, but in the midst of that I think people actually pause for a day and give thanks for what they have.

As we approach Thanksgiving at South Nashville Church, we are showing our thanks by taking a special offering that will go to the Tusculum Elementary School Music and Drama program.  The money will go to the purchase of microphones for their program.  Their goal and our goal is to raise $1,000.  This donation will be matched by a grant the music teacher is applying for so your offering will be doubled.
